Why a privacy statement?

We at Bexter attach great importance to the privacy and security of your data. Bexter adheres to the Dutch and European rules on privacy, including the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) that will come into force on 25 May 2018. As with our products, we also want to be transparent with the use of your data. We are therefore happy to inform you about what personal data Bexter collects/processes, why it does this and what happens to your personal data.

Why are personal data processed?

Bexter B.V. is an organisation that operates within the ‘business to business’ (B2B) market. Your personal data are processed in order to provide you with the information you request via our website (www.bexter.nl). We also process personal data to be able to execute agreements with our customers. Without your data, we cannot provide information, products or services.

What personal data is collected and how?

The personal data that Bexter collects are:

First and last name of the user;
Email address of the user;
Phone numbers of contact persons.

This data is mainly collected digitally via a registration webpage (on the website www.bexter.nl) and in the applications themselves. Bexter may also request personal data from you in writing or verbally.

We will never ask you for more data than we need to correspond with you, to provide you with products and services and/or to create functional products.

You always have the choice to determine which data you do or do not provide. When you provide data, this must be a conscious choice.Handling of personal data

We handle your personal and company data with great care. Anyone who has nothing to do with your data simply does not have access to it. If you use a paid service from us, we also use your data for billing purposes. It is also possible that we use your data for targeted e-mails. If you no longer wish to receive e-mails, you can use the “unsubscribe link” found at the bottom of every e-mail from Bexter.

In addition, we take the necessary measures at administrative, technical and organizational level to do everything in our power to secure your data, to treat it confidentially and to prevent its misuse, loss, unlawful access or unauthorized use. Through these measures, taking into account the state of the art and costs, we guarantee an appropriate level of protection.

Your data is stored in a server of Microsoft Azure. This data is stored in the Netherlands.

We do not share data with third parties and/or parties outside the EU. Furthermore, we do not engage in profiling or automated decision-making.

The collected personal data is not kept longer than the business requires or than legally obliged. Where possible, personal data will be deleted after four (4) weeks after termination of the agreement with you.

Your rights regarding your data

Privacy and security of your data is a focal point for us. If you have any questions about the use of your data, want to review your data, your data is not correct and you want it changed, you want to withdraw your permission for processing, have a complaint or want us to remove your data or hand it over to a third party, please contact us at: info@bexter.nl.

In addition, you can also file a complaint about unlawful data use (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) through the Personal Data Authority.

Google Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics to gain insight into the flow of visitors and the pages visited on our website, among other things. This enables us to optimize our website.

The information collected by Google Analytics is anonymised as much as possible, so the last parts of your IP address are not visible. Because Google acts as a processor in the processing of personal data, a processing agreement has been concluded with Google. Google does not collect the data for its own use, no permission for this has been granted by Bexter. Google Analytics uses cookies to obtain these statistics. If you do not wish to accept cookies from Google Analytics, you can set your browser so that it no longer accepts cookies. You can do this in the settings of your browser. We do not use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics.

Bexter B.V. reserves the right to amend this privacy statement. Any amendment will be published on this page. Bexter B.V. advises you to regularly check this page for any changes.
